Senior Pastor

Dr. Glen Martin has served as Senior Pastor of Journey of Faith since 1991. His education includes a Bachelor of Science and Secondary Teaching Credential with an emphasis in Science; a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in Christian Education; a Doctor of Ministry with an emphasis in Leadership and a Master of Theology with an emphasis in Biblical Studies.

Pastor Glen’s passion is to equip the church to reach the lost and mobilize it to reach its full potential. Known for his engaging speaking style, Dr. Martin has also served as a speaker and seminar leader with Promise Keepers, INJOY and Man in the Mirror. Dr. Martin speaks throughout the United States on leadership, evangelism, change and ministry effectiveness and has taught at numerous seminaries and Bible colleges across the country.

Dr. Martin has published articles on church growth and leadership in The Church Planter, The Church Growth Network, Leadership Sundoulos, Global Church Growth, Decision, Growing Churches, Works, The Word Around Us, and many denominational publications.

Dr. Martin is co-author of Finding Them, Keeping Them, a book for church leaders on balancing assimilation and evangelism. He has also written:

Pastor Glen and his wife, Nancy, live in Hermosa Beach and have three grown children, and four grandchildren.
