Joshua Asbury is our Student Ministries Pastor. Joshua's desire is to see God reach students in the South Bay so much that they begin to live, breathe, and commit their lives to following passionately after Jesus. Joshua has been involved in student ministries full time for 6 years and has been all over the world working with students, but is happy to call Los Angeles his home.

God's journey for Joshua has been quite an adventure.
It began in  Cincinnati, Ohio, where he grew up in a Christian home, graduating from a Christian school, he then attended Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. While   attending CBC, he interned in Spain for four months. After graduation, he spent a year working with students in Northern Ireland. Following a year serving in Ireland, Joshua returned to the states and settled in Tucson, Arizona as a youth pastor for 2 years followed by a move to southern California to work for the Lord at a church in Covina. God has now led him to work with the students in Journey's community.

Joshua earned a B.A. in Biblical Studies and is currently working on a Master's degree in Christian Education and Youth ministries at Haggard School of Theology, in association with Azusa Pacific University.
