Journey Kids Programs
It is our desire to help you guide your child along their journey of faith. Each life stage is designed to bring them closer to a personal relationship with their Savior. Our programs utilize trained staff and volunteers from our congregation who have a heart for reaching kids for Christ. Livescan background checks are done right here on campus for our volunteers and paid staff. We look forward to serving with you.
Parenting Resources
The HomeFront Weekly is a powerful resource designed to get families talking about faith and experiencing God together. It can help parents to be in God's Word, together as a family, making a priority in their homes. Each week, parents have the opportunity to read God's Word wtih their children in a fun setting. The passage they read will allow them prepare the upcoming weekend experience at church. Kids get to head a specific part of The Big God Story from parents first! This will help us model that faith starts in the homes with the family, and the church plays a supportive role.
Pick one up at any check-in station or download a copy from trujourneykids.com.
The HomeFront Monthly parenting magazine provides ideas for an evening or part of a day focusing on God and each other. This resource provides more than enough activities and ideas to use with your family throughout the month. It is not intended that you use every activity, but we encourage you to browse through the resource and choose one or two activities that fit your family (planning around a family meal works great!). Remember to have FUN as you interact as a family and enjoy spending time with God and each other. There is a new HomeFront every month!
