JOURNEY KIDS
Children’s Ministry is a place where kids are loved unconditionally, protected uncompromisingly, and taught the truths of the Bible creatively. From our youngest babies to our oldest fifth graders, we have created fun environments that engage every age group at their developmental level, while helping children discover and experience who God is and who God wants them to become.
Sunday School
We offer Sunday School at all of our services. Infants and Toddlers will sing songs and read stories from Children’s Bibles to help them begin building a foundation of trust, hope, and love. Our classrooms are designed to have age appropriate, engaging lessons and activities for kids using our three-part Tru curriculum. TruBlessings teaches 2- and 3-year-old children that God made them, God loves them, and God is with them. TruWonder piques the natural curiosity of preschool and kindergarten-age children and invites them to experience the wonder of who God is. TruStory reveals God’s incredible plan to elementary-age children and invites them to be a part of it!
Mom’s Morning Out
Because every mom needs a morning out!
An inexpensive program on Tuesdays and Fridays from 9:00am to 12:00pm. Let our paid staff care for your infant or toddler. Pre-registation is required. Cost is $25 for church members and $30 for non-members.
MOPS and MOMSnext
“We are moms, and we believe that better moms make a better world.”
MOPS is a caring and supportive group for mothers with children from womb to kindergarten. Meetings consist of breakfast, speakers, crafts, and discussion time while the children attend MOPPETS.
MOMSnext offers support as you continue the journey of motherhood all the way through high school.
Awana
Awana reaches kids for Christ through fun, Scripture-rich experiences that lead them to know, love and serve Him. There are Awana clubs available for children who are 4 years old–5th grade. Clubs meet on Wednesday evenings from 6:45–8:30pm beginning in September through May. Registration is open throughout the year for new students. Click below to complete the Awana registration form.
Special Needs Class
At Journey of Faith one of our core values is creating a safe and exciting environment to come as you are. We want to make sure this is true for everyone who walks in the doors, and especially for those who have a unique set of needs.
We are currently looking for Buddies who will serve one-on-one with special needs children or students to help them as they participate in our weekly ministry! Buddies are needed for Sunday mornings at 8, 9:30 and 11am, Tuesday evenings at 6pm, and Wednesday evenings at 6:45pm. We will help you get to know your buddy and give you the skills you need to encourage them while they are at church.

Child Dedication Ceremony
We have updated our child dedication ceremony to a fuller experience. This time will be for a few hours in the morning and we will have a catered breakfast, share with one another, and you will have the chance to read a blessing over your child. Friends and family are invited to attend with you to be part of the dedication.
Child dedication ceremonies take place twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall. Check the Child Dedication Request Form for more details.
Kids’ Baptism
At Journey of Faith we believe that baptism is an expression of faith in Jesus. If your child has accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior and is interested in baptism, we would love to connect with you! Baptism is offered a few times a year, and your child must attend kids' baptism class before they can be baptized.
New Baby Ministry
We schedule visits for families with new babies to pray with them and share a congratulations gift bag. Please email us if you or someone you know in the church is due to have a baby or adopt in the coming months.
