Sunday Services

Our weekend services are a great first step to get connected and learn more about Journey, whether you’re online or on campus.

The Sunday service is approximately an hour long and includes a few worship songs and a Bible-based message.

We’d love to see you at one of our campuses soon!

Questions?

Where do I go when I arrive at church?

On a typical Sunday our parking team will wave hello and direct you as you enter our parking areas. Just follow the smiling faces in the bright orange vests.

As you’re walking toward a building, a greeting team member will help you find where the auditorium, restrooms and kids areas are located. Check out these links to learn more about our students and kids environments.

If you need anything throughout your visit—directions, or have a question—feel free to ask anyone with a volunteer lanyard for help. We’re a friendly bunch, and we’d love to make you feel welcome!

What happens for kids?

Kids from infants to fifth grade have their own unique and fun experience of learning about Jesus on their level in a separate age-appropriate environment happening during the Sunday Services. Each Sunday kids have their own service with singing, a Bible lesson, crafts and small group time.

To see what your kids are learning, check out the Journey Kids webpage. For nursing mothers, our Manhattan Beach campus also has a family room where moms and infants can watch the service together.

Middle school and high school students experience the adult service on Sunday, but have their own midweek gatherings on Tuesday evenings. Check out the students page to learn more.

How long is the service?

Our Sunday services typically last about 60 minutes. We start by singing three to four songs, then you’ll hear a message from one of the members of our teaching team. To get a feel for our teaching style, check out a recent message series.

What should I wear?

Most people dress casually, but you are welcome to wear whatever makes you comfortable.

Can I attend if I'm ___________ ?

We all have something we could use to fill in that blank, right? You my be from a different faith background.. or no faith background at all. You may be divorced or a single parent. You may be broke, an addict, a skeptic, and the answer will always be the same: Everyone is welcome!

So come as you are, and we’ll see you on Sunday!
